well, I'll write about one of the existing university in Japan. and I chose for this time is the Saitama University.
I read an article about the Saitama University. They are one of the good State University in the Kanto region. so, I tried to find more information and some pictures from google. If you plan to school in Japan, perhaps Saitama University could be one option.
Saitama University is the only national university in Saitama Prefecture, which borders the north of the Tokyo metropolitan area. The University is located in the western outskirts of Saitama City, the capital of Saitama Prefecture. Saitama City is thriving with more than one million inhabitants; it is the largest municipality in the northern Kanto region.
The campus can be reached in only one hour by train and bus from Japan Railways Tokyo Station, a landmark of the central part of Tokyo.
Saitama University is a comprehensive university with 5 faculties: Faculties of Science, Engineering, Economics, Education, and Liberal Arts.
The University has five faculties (schools) for undergraduate education -Liberal Arts, Education, Economics, Science, and Engineering- and four graduate schools -Cultural Science, Education, Economic Science, and Science and Engineering-, all offering programs leading to doctorates as well as master’s degrees. The total enrollment in the university is more than 8,500 with more than 500 overseas students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies . I'm sure this could be your choice of university if they want to attend national universities.

1. All the information about the university (brochures, guidelines, webpages, etc.) are available in English. FSO (Foreign Student Office) for Science & Engineering majors, Center for International Exchange for the other majors are available to help students in need for language supports.
2. The educational policy for English education is clear at Saitama Univ. All the undergraduates of Saitama have the score of 600+ when they graduate. We emphasize on CALL as well as face-to-face communicative approach from the very beginers of English learning.
